Ishibu Onsen Giant Dragnet Festival

The Giant Dragnet Festival, held on the beach at Ishibu, involves everyone, residents and tourists alike, working together to pull in a huge dragnet, some 1,200 meters in length, which was set out in the sea the previous day. The fish caught in the net are barbecued and served right there on the beach.
