Cherry Leaf Gourmet

Sakuramochi are traditional Japanese sweets that have been a spring favorite since the Edo period. A vital part of these sakuramochi is the salt-pickled cherry leaves that give them their mellow fragrance and delicious flavor. Matsuzaki boasts the highest production of these leaves in Japan, producing 70% of all sakuramochi leaves in the country.
